Bracken Village Family Portrait : Bella

Isn’t she just the cutest little thing? Well… I don’t think ‘little’ really fits to describe Isabella – would you believe she’s not even five years old here? First, the token Texas Bluebonnets portrait , then some more fun stuff, walking around, hanging out, getting some candid moments.

Bracken Village Family Portrait : Isabella + Gracie

A nice day out in Bracken for a session with two adorable little princesses (and their teddies too!). To kick things off, they had breakfast right before the session. And by breakfast, I mean a gigantic chocolate fudge brownie. Thanks for that one, Mom! 🙂

These two were a blast to shoot, and while they were changing outfits we had a fun mini-session with their adventurous teddy bears!

^ LOVE this B&W shot! It’s like a scene from a fairy tale.

Botanical Gardens Family Portrait : The Hsieh’s

It’s so much fun to shoot with little kiddos – there’s such a wide range of authentic emotions and expressions to capture. The Hsieh family was gorgeous and their three beautiful angels were a blast to work play with.

TIP: When it’s time to get some new family portraits, it’s tempting to wait until the holidays to just do huge family group shots and then break into smaller groups for individual (nuclear) family portraits. That totally makes sense, but I also recommend setting up a separate shoot for just your family in private, especially if there are kiddos. When we work with a smaller group we spend more time with you and catch all those wonderful candid moments of your children that we may not be able to do when there is a huge group of people to work with.
