So you remember that time when Pope Francis went to New York City and hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world came to see him? The time where the mayor of the city told everyone it would be a great time to Netflix and Chill…? Well, what better time to go shoot an extended engagement session in some of the most famous sights of NYC? Yeah.
But hey, it wasn’t nearly as crazy as we’d expected, and while we had to dodge the occasional horde of tourists, Lauren and Sheldon managed to still look crazy in love and knocked it out of the park.
Our whirlwind two-day session included Madison Square Park, the Flatiron Building, The High Line, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge, Bethesda Fountain and other areas of Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Say that three times fast.
We logged a lot of miles (on our feet), and had to pretend we were all fully awake at 6am to shoot in Grand Central, but we think the results were worth the effort and hope you enjoy!
That’s the view from the apartment when it was time to change outfits, by the way… Whoa.
It is crazy how we managed to make it seem like there was nobody on The High Line the weekend the Pope was in town in at least a few shots.
