The wedding I’m about to share with you is pretty special. Just Google “San Antonio Flood May 25, 2013” and you’ll have an idea of the cards we were dealt that day. There were hundreds of swiftwater rescues and the major highway leading to all the locations was shut down. All our plans for outdoor portraits at the Witte Museum were scrapped due to logistics with the traffic on all the back roads. But guess what… everyone was so happy to come together and celebrate with Magali & Michael that none of that mattered.
A quick vendor shout-out… The original plan for the reception was to have lights strung in the trees. The call had to be made the day before to put up tents based on the forecast. It didn’t end up raining, but Great Events & Rentals did a fantastic job (with short notice) with some absolutely gorgeous tents which were a nice touch, rain or shine. I also want to take a moment to give credit to Nicolette Orozco at Chic Concepts for doing a great job under pressure. Everything came together without any glitches, and that was only possible because of her hard work. I can’t say enough good things about Nicolette.
I want you to pay attention to how much emotion there was throughout the day… how much joy there was at the reception as everyone celebrated their love. Without further ado, it’s time to rain down some sweet, sweet photos. Enjoy!
